Having had previous experience delivering major projects for the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, our experts were able to hit the ground running and knew exactly what was required to carry out essential passive fire protection works safely and successfully. 

Due to the nature of the short programme, all works had to be completed within a tight timeframe which required our certified experts to work 7 days a week, and often out of hours alongside the fit-out team and contractors to ensure deadlines were met and the project was delivered on time. 

Upon completion, a final sign-off inspection was carried out by our experts, compiling a bespoke passive fire register, ready to handover to the client. 

Helix FMS is proud to have provided complete passive fire protection works on the new 2,000sqm 60-bed Discharge Suite at Hull Royal Infirmary. 

This 6 week fast-track project was carried out to support healthcare professionals and our wider community, as a direct response to a hospital bed shortage.
