Intumescent paint is an integral passive fire protection measure on construction projects.

Helix FMS were privileged to be given the responsibility of carrying out these vital works for the Sewell Group.

The majority of steel work which needed covering was existing, with the introduction and installation of new steels as the project progressed.

Once the amounts required had been quantified, our expert spraying team proceeded with the works.

The project took slightly longer than expected, due to the unprecedented weather conditions - once the temperature improved, enabling the works to continue, the project was completed.
